A major overhaul of npower.com
The purpose of this project was to update the look and feel of the npower.com website and to improve the whole user experience for npower’s online customers.
This is the first major refresh of the npower.com website for a number of years and involved updating the styles and HTML markup for hundreds of pages of content, not an easy task with so many different types of pages to build for (information pages, product pages, landing pages etc), where one change here can break another.

Parts of the website went through usability testing to highlight where the website was failing and as a team we have done our best to get rid of these issues, only time will tell if the new changes have been a success or not.
There are parts of the new look and feel that I’m not comfortable with but this is a good example of not being able to please all of the people all of the time, I believe the users needs should come first but sometimes you cant just ignore business requirements.
